Purpose of Collaborative Committee

The Children’s Court Improvement Program (CIP) multidisciplinary committee is composed of representatives from the courts, the various child serving agencies and state tribes to promote ongoing and meaning collaboration between disciplines. The CIP Committee assists with developing the five year strategic plan for the CIP grants. The work of the CIP happens through the four workgroups; High Quality, Timely and Thorough Hearings (Due Process), Performance measures/data collection, Improving Educational outcomes for children in foster care and ICWA Compliance.
